Common use of Summer Clause in Contracts

Summer. The UFF may designate three (3) employees to receive a thirteen week .25 FTE summer released time assignment however, no more than one employee per 15 employees per department/unit be designated to receive such released time. The UFF shall provide the University with a list of the designees no later than April 7th of the academic year preceding the summer term. All other provisions contained in Article 3.4 above, except 3.4A and 3.4B above, shall apply to summer released time.

No more than one employee faculty member per 15 employees faculty members per department/unit may be designated to receive such released time. The UFF shall provide the University Board with a list of the requested designees no later than April 7th of the academic year preceding the summer term. All other provisions contained in Article 3.4 aboveSection 3.4, except 3.4A 3.4(a) and 3.4B above(b), shall apply to summer released time.

For these purposes, no more than one employee a .25 FTE equals a ten (10) hour per 15 employees per department/unit be designated to receive such released timeweek workload for thirteen (13) weeks. The UFF shall will provide the University Board with a list the name of the designees requested representative no later than April 7th 7 of the academic year preceding the summer Summer term. All other provisions contained in Article section 3.4 above(Released Time) except 3.4(a, except 3.4A b, and 3.4B above, shall d) will apply to summer Summer released timetime equivalent.
