Common use of Sunday and Holiday Pay Clause in Contracts

Sunday and Holiday Pay. Employees will be assigned to work Sundays and holidays only in emergencies. Such work will be paid at twice the regular hourly rate of pay. This paragraph does not apply to bus drivers or for building checks. If offered by the administration, employees may voluntarily work on Sundays or holidays. (i.e. Sunday Church Services).
