Overtime Procedures. Except in emergency situations, all work performed in excess of forty (40) hours per week must be authorized in advance by the supervisor. Emergency overtime must be reported to the supervisor within seventy-two (72) hours of its occurrence. An employee who works more than forty (40) hours in a workweek shall receive compensatory time off as scheduling permits and with approval of the supervisor.

Overtime Procedures. In addition to paragraphs A and B of Section I of this Agreement, the following shall apply:
Overtime Procedures. During periods of overtime, the following principles shall be observed. The company will offer overtime by asking the employee with the lowest overtime hours in each classification first provided that they have the skills and ability to perform satisfactorily the work. When all hours are equal, the employee with the highest seniority in the classification will be asked to work overtime. If there are no volunteers, overtime will be mandatory to the lowest person in overtime hours or when all hours are equal, the lowest seniority employee in the classification. Overtime records will be maintained on a daily basis and posted in practical location. If all employees in a classification refuse overtime, the available overtime hours will be offered to employees who are qualified by the chart of classification and/or by mutual agreement of the parties. VOLUNTARY OVERTIME – Management will give employees two (2) hours of advance notice for daily overtime and weekend overtime. In the event that both Saturday and Sunday overtime is expected, it will be scheduled in blocks. If employees are not given proper notification, they will not be charged overtime hours should they refuse. All Sunday overtime work will be considered voluntary.
Overtime Procedures. When departmental employees perform basically the same duties, performance of these duties on an overtime basis shall be distributed as equally as possible among such employees. In all other situations, overtime assignments shall be assigned to the employee(s) most appropriate to complete the overtime task(s).

A highly unusual or extraordinary event which is unpredictable or unavoidable and which substantially affects the provision of needed health care services or increases the need for health care services. This subsection includes: a. An act of terrorism; b. A natural disaster; c. A widespread disease outbreak; d. An unforeseeable increase of client acuity. 3. Facility emergencies related to physical plant operations; 4. Unexpected absences, discovered at or before the commencement of a scheduled shift, which could not be prudently planned for by the Employer and which could significantly affect patient safety. C. In the event mandatory overtime is necessary in compliance with this Agreement, it shall be administered only after exhausting the bargaining unit employee volunteer list referenced in Section 2 (A) above and as follows: 1. The mandatory overtime list will be posted in a location that is easily accessible to all employees at all times. 2. The list(s) will be maintained for rotation of mandatory overtime for staff. Any period of mandatory overtime worked, regardless of length, will move that employee to the bottom of the mandate lists. The employee at the top of the list will be mandated, if needed. 3. If any employee works two (2) or more consecutive hours of voluntary overtime, that employee shall move to the bottom of the mandatory overtime list. 4. Employees working their last scheduled shift prior to day(s) off will not be mandated, unless there are no other qualified bargaining unit employees on duty. 5. Every effort will be made so that employees will not be mandated on scheduled days off. 6. Reasonable efforts will be made to secure volunteers or to rotate assignments equitably in order to avoid mandating employees for a shift of four (4) o...
Overtime Procedures. Overtime which can be scheduled in advance will be offered in accordance with seniority provided the employee is qualified to do the work. If no qualified employee is willing to perform the work, it will be assigned by the Employer to the least senior employee. For overtime which cannot be scheduled in advance, it will be assigned to: (a) The employees on shifts in the classification. (b) Employees in all other classifications qualified to do the work.

Overtime Procedures. No overtime shall be allowed or incurred without the approval, in advance, of the Superintendent or his/her designee. Exceptions may be made in the case of emergencies. There is no guarantee to overtime work for any employee. The administration shall endeavor to offer overtime equally among qualified employees over the course of the school year (school year employees) or calendar year (twelve month employees). Overtime opportunities will generally be rotated among employees who perform work of that type in that building. However, this provision shall not require the administration to assign overtime to another employee when work had already been commenced by a particular employee. Nor does this provision require the administration to assign work which would be overtime to one employee who regularly performs work of that type.
