SUPERANNUATION Employer Contributions. 7.11.1 The employer will make the mandatory contributions to the employee’s nominated superannuation fund in accordance with the requirements of the Superannuation Guarantee (Administration) Xxx 0000 (Cth). 7.11.2 The calculation of the contribution will be based on the “ordinary-time earnings” of the employee, including shift penalty rates, allowances, bonuses, public holiday loading, additional casual rate and ordinary time allowances and not including payments for overtime. 7.11.3 The employee can nominate a complying fund of their choice in to which the employer will make the contributions. If the employee does not nominate a fund, the employer will make contributions into a Superannuation Fund that includes a “MySuper” product. The default fund is the Hospital Employees’ Superannuation Trust Australia (HESTA). 7.11.4 Employer and additional employee contributions will be made monthly, within 28 days of the last day of the month. 7.11.5 Details of the contributions will be included on the employee’s pay advice.
SUPERANNUATION Employer Contributions. Kelmech Engineering Services Pty Ltd will contribute at the rate of 9% of each employees gross weekly wage into an AMP Superannuation Fund pursuant to the Superannuation Guarantee (Administration) Act 1992. Except as outlined under the subheading “Auscoal Super Fund (Miners Pension Fund)”, Kelmech Engineering Services Pty Ltd under this subheading absorbs all other Occupational Superannuation payments otherwise payable by Kelmech Engineering Services Pty Ltd. Kelmech Engineering Services Pty Ltd is currently looking at another superannuation fund as an alternative to AMP Superannuation Fund. Employees will be notified of the second Superannuation Fund once the decision has been made.

  • Employer Contribution (a) An Employer contribution for health and dental benefits will only be made for each active employee who has at least eighty (80) paid regular hours in a month and who is eligible for medical insurance coverage, unless otherwise required by law. (b) It is understood that the administrative intent of this Article is that the Employer contribution is made for individuals who are participants in the medical insurance coverages. Participation will mean that eligible less-than-full-time employees who drop out of coverage will be considered to participate. Additionally, employees who elect to opt out of coverage for a cash incentive will be considered to participate.

  • Employer Contributions 8.1 Rates at which the Employer shall contribute for each hour of work performed on behalf of each employee employed under the terms of this Agreement are contained in the Appendices attached to and forming part of this Agreement. 8.2 Contributions shall be recorded on a remittance form and remitted to the designated recipient of such contributions on or before the fifteenth (15) day of the month following the month for which contributions are to be made. In the event that any Employer is delinquent in his contributions to the above funds for more than thirty (30) days, the Employer and the Association shall be notified of such delinquency. If after five (5) days from such notice such delinquency has not been paid, the Employer shall pay to the applicable funds, as liquidated damages and not as a penalty, an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the arrears for the month, or part thereof, in which the Employer is in default. Thereafter, interest shall accumulate at the rate of two percent (2%) per month (24% per year compounded monthly) on any unpaid arrears, including liquidated damages. 8.3 The amounts to be designated as wages and/or Employer contributions to the above funds may be varied from time to time by agreement between the Association and the Union. 8.4 The Board of Trustees of the respective Trust Funds shall have authority to promulgate such agreements, plans and/or rules as may be necessary or desirable for the efficient and successful operation and administration of the said Trust Funds, including provisions for audit security, surety and/or liquidated damages to the extent that such may be necessary for the protection of the beneficiaries of such Trust Funds. 8.5 Any and all agreements, plans or rules established by the Boards of Trustees of the respective Trust Funds shall be appended hereto and shall be deemed to be part of and expressly incorporated herein and the Employer and the Union shall be bound by the terms and provisions thereof. 8.6 All employer contributions due and payable to the above funds, except industry promotion funds, shall be deemed and are considered to be Trust Funds. It is expressly understood that training funds and industry promotion funds are not wages or benefits due to an employee and industry promotion funds are dues for services rendered by the Association. 8.7 The Business Representative of the Local Union may inspect, during regular business hours, the Company's record of time worked by employees and contributions to the plan. 8.8 The Employer shall be responsible for the payment of any government sales taxes applicable to any trust fund contributions payable by the Employer.

  • Matching Contributions The Employer will make matching contributions in accordance with the formula(s) elected in Part II of this Adoption Agreement Section 3.01.

  • Employee Contributions Any member of the bargaining unit who is hired on or after September 1, 2010 is eligible to make a voluntary contribution to the City=s Deferred Compensation Plan offered by Ameritas.

  • Retirement Contributions On behalf of employees, the State will continue to “pick up” the six percent (6%) employee contribution, payable pursuant to law. The parties acknowledge that various challenges have been filed that contest the lawfulness, including the constitutionality, of various aspects of PERS reform legislation enacted by the 2003 Legislative Assembly, including Chapters 67 (HB 2003) and 68 (HB 2004) of Oregon Laws 2003 (“PERS Litigation”). Nothing in this Agreement shall constitute a waiver of any party’s rights, claims or defenses with respect to the PERS Litigation.

  • Voluntary Employee Contributions (i) Subject to the governing rules of the relevant superannuation fund, an employee may, in writing, authorise their employer to pay on behalf of the employee a specified amount from the post- taxation wages of the employee into the same superannuation fund as the employer makes the superannuation contributions provided for in Clause 24(b). (ii) An employee may adjust the amount the employee has authorised their employer to pay from the wages of the employee from the first of the month following the giving of three months’ written notice to their employer. (iii) The employer must pay the amount authorised under Clauses 24(d)(i) or 24(d)(ii) no later than 28 days after the end of the month in which the deduction authorised under Clauses 24(d)(i) or 24(d)(ii) was made.

  • Company Contributions The Company shall continue to make a Company Contribution for Plan Years 2017, 2018 and 2019, on the same terms and conditions set forth in the Participant Agreement, with the performance metrics and targets in connection with such Company Contributions for such Plan Years to be established in the sole discretion of the Committee, following consultation with the Chief Executive Officer of the Company.

The State shall, as permitted by 5 M.R.S.A. §17702 §§s5 and 6, pay its cost of the 6.5% or 7.5% retirement contribution for employees in the bargaining unit who are covered under special Law Enforcement retirement plans. 2.
