TIME ALLOWANCES. A. TIME ALLOWANCE FOR PERFORMANCE OF CONTRACT
1. When the Contract has been signed by Contractor and the County, and funds necessary to make payments as required under Contract are available, the County will serve a Notice to Proceed (Exhibit C) upon Contractor to that effect, either by depositing notice in a post office or post office box regularly maintained by United States Postal Service in a pre- paid wrapper directed to Contractor at its legal address, or (at the County's option) by delivery by other means at the Contractor's legal address.
2. The start date for Contract Time shall be on the date indicated in the applicable Notice to Proceed (Exhibit C). If no date is indicated, then the start date for Contract Time shall be the fifth (5th) day from date that Contractor receives, by hand delivery or by facsimile transmission, County's written Notice to Proceed, unless the Notice to Proceed is served by mail only, then the start date under the Contract shall be the tenth (10th) day following the date of mailing. Total number of days for completion of Work on Contract shall be as provided in this Contract.
TIME ALLOWANCES. Section 1. Ten (10) minutes preparatory time for use in properly performing their duties required by the City shall be included in all regularly assigned runs. In addition, all split or two-piece runs will pay an additional ten (10) minutes preparatory time on the second pullout.
TIME ALLOWANCES. (1) The time allowances provided in this article may be extended by mutual agreement between the parties, in writing.
(2) If the time allowances, or any extension thereof, are not observed by either party, the grievance shall be considered as advanced to the next step of this procedure, including Arbitration.
TIME ALLOWANCES. Section 1: All operators when putting a coach into service from the garage (outside of reliefs) shall receive a preparatory time allowance of fifteen (15) minutes. Operators making a road relief at their regular scheduled hours of their platform assignment shall receive a preparatory time allowance of ten (10) minutes. Operators who make a second road relief during the day shall not be entitled to any additional preparatory time for that relief. The preparatory time as provided herein is for duties required to perform their scheduled work assignment.
Section 2: All employees shall be guaranteed thirty (30) minutes at the employee's applicable rate of pay for fully, properly, and correctly making out accident or unusual occurrence reports. Employees will give a full report to the Supervisor of Accident Reporting and will be assisted as needed in making such report.
Section 3: In the event an employee is required to attend court as a witness on behalf of the Employer, the employee so required to attend court shall be paid at his/her regular straight hourly rate of pay for his/her assigned day's work, provided he presents himself for work if excused from court prior to 2:00 p.m. If an employee is required to attend court as a witness on behalf of the Employer on his/her day off, he will be guaranteed a minimum of two (2) hours or actual time spent at the employee's regular hourly rate of pay.
Section 4: All regular operators shall receive seventy-five (75) cents per hour in addition to their regular straight time hourly rate of pay when required by the Employer to break in and instruct a student operator.
Section 5: Neither the time allowance nor the pay provisions contained in the above Sections, excluding report time, shall be used in computing overtime, and at no time and under no circumstances shall employees be paid at the overtime rate of pay.
Section 6: Effective for the Fall pick of 1997 and thereafter, all work days will start and stop at the garage. Relief points will be determined by the County. Transportation and/or vehicles will be provided by the County. Travel time and report time will be used in the construction of runs and in time accumulated for the purpose of calculating overtime. TIME ALLOWANCES. 17.1. Employees covered by this Agreement shall continue to receive time allowances as specified in the Award (AP816514).
17.2. Provided that for Employees at the Box Hill, Central Gippsland, Xxxxxxxx, East Gippsland, Xxxxxx, Holmesglen, Northern Melbourne and South-West Institutes of TAFE, the RMIT University, Swinburne University of Technology and The University of Ballarat, the arrangements, now specified where relevant in Appendices 1 – 14 of this Agreement, shall continue to operate.
TIME ALLOWANCES. All bus drivers are required to report for duty at the garage twenty (20) minutes prior to their schedule route departure time. The preparatory time is provided for the inspection of equipment and other duties required to perform their work. There will be twenty (20) minutes preparation time in the morning prior to the buses first trip of each day and ten (10) minutes preparation time in the afternoon of each day. Preparation time is limited to regular runs unless a special trip qualifies as a call out.
TIME ALLOWANCES. 13.01 The following allowances shall be paid:
(a) (i) Fifteen (15) minutes report time, at the regular hourly rate, shall be paid to each Bus Operator for each day worked. This is to provide the Operators with sufficient time to report, check detours posted on the board, sign bulletins, perform a pre trip inspection of their vehicle, sign the defect card etc. and be prepared to leave the garage at the start time of the assignment.
TIME ALLOWANCES. The District will provide all employees covered by this MOA a work week of forty (40) hours, consisting of either five (5) days of eight (8) hours each day, with two consecutive rest days in each seven (7) day period or four (4) days of ten (10) hours each with three (3) consecutive rest days in each seven (7) day period. Eight (8) consecutive hours worked will constitute a workday, or ten (10) consecutive hours on a four-day work week will constitute a work day, excluding meal periods.
TIME ALLOWANCES. SECTION 1. All bus operators shall receive an allowance of ten (10) minutes as preparatory time on their first platform assignment of the day and five (5) minutes for each subsequent platform assignment. Such preparatory time is for the inspection of equipment and other duties arising out of the performance of their work.
SECTION 2. Such preparatory time shall be computed as part of the scheduled run time and will not be reflected separately on run assignments.
SECTION 3. Travel time to the start point of the run in addition to the preparatory time shall be included in the run time. Travel time of 5 minutes or sufficient time to the downtown transfer point shall be included in reliefs made downtown. The City shall consider additional time for downtown reliefs when required due to traffic congestion.
SECTION 4. The City may require all employees to attend meetings with pay as necessary to accomplish their duties in a safe and efficient manner.
