Common use of Supplemental Leaves Clause in Contracts

Supplemental Leaves. 1. Any employee who has been employed by the Xxx Arbor District Library for the preceding twenty-four (24) month period shall, upon his/her request and upon thirty (30) days advance written notice to the Employer, be granted up to a three (3) month extension of an FMLA leave for which the employee may otherwise have continued to be eligible had the twelve (12) week period authorized under the FMLA not otherwise expired. Except as provided below, such leave shall be without compensation or Employer paid benefits.
