Supplementation to Workers’ Compensation Benefits. Subd. 1. An employee who is absent from work due to a work‐related injury and is receiving workers’ compensation benefits may elect, in writing, to supplement workers’ compensation benefits by using his/her accrued sick leave and/or vacation leave in order to receive the full amount of his/her normal pay.
