Survivor Insurance. The surviving spouse of an employee carrying family coverage at the time of his/her death due to a job connected injury or illness which was determined to have arisen out of and in the course of his/her employment under worker’s compensation law shall continue to be eligible for city contribution in the same proportions as is provided for retired employees.
