Common use of Task Force Clause in Contracts

Task Force. The parties reiterate their mutual commitment to quality patient 29 care. In a joint effort to assure optimal nursing care and maintain professional 30 standards, a task force shall be established to examine nursing practice, staffing, 31 payroll issues, call standards, the status of outstanding grievances that are not 32 disciplinary, notices and updates regarding restructures, key nursing initiatives, 33 the Service Center workplace process improvement projects, and new lines of 34 business. Agendas will be developed jointly along with an annual calendar 1 scheduling routine outline updates (where possible). Failure of the task force to 2 agree on a matter will not be subject to the grievance process and will not be 3 deemed to be a reopener of the Agreement. 4 1. The Association shall appoint three (3) members to the task force, at least 5 two (2) of whom shall be employed by the Service Center. 7 2. The Service Center shall appoint the nurse manager, the Triage Center 8 Director and a representative from Human Resources. 10 3. The task force shall meet at least quarterly, or as otherwise agreed to by 11 the Service Center and the Association, to accomplish its assignment. 12 Nurses on the committee will be paid for their attendance. 14 4. Any agreements made will be put in writing.
