Teacher Duty Days. The School Board shall, prior to April 1 of each school year, establish the number of school days and teacher duty days for the coming school year, and the teachers shall perform services on those days determined by the School Board, including those legal holidays on which the School Board is authorized to conduct school and pursuant to such authority, has determined to conduct school. The length of the school year shall consist of 185 days in the year for teachers including: student days, orientation and workshop days, and in- service training days as determined by the District. The District shall provide the Association the opportunity to meet and confer on the calendar prior to March 1.
