TEACHING HOURS AND CLASS LOAD. A. Teachers shall be required to report for duty fifteen (15) minutes before the opening of the pupils’ regular school day in the morning. Teachers shall be permitted to leave fifteen (15) minutes after close of the pupils’ regular school day. Teachers are encouraged to remain for a sufficient period after the close of the pupils’ school day to attend to those matters which properly require attention at that time, including consultations with parents when scheduled directly with the teacher or with the Principal after consultation with the teacher. On Fridays or on days preceding holidays or vacations, the teacher’s day shall end immediately following bus departure.

The official school day to attend to those matters which properly require attention for teachers will be seven (7) hours thirty (30) minutes, beginning at that time, including consultations with parents when scheduled directly with the teacher or with the Principal after consultation with the teacher. On Fridays or on days preceding holidays or vacations, the teacher’s day shall end immediately following bus departure.7:45 a.m. and ending at 3:15 p.m.
