Technical Management. (only applicable if agreed according to Box 6) The Managers shall provide technical management which includes, but is not limited to, the following functions:
(i) provision of competent personnel to supervise the maintenance and general efficiency of the Vessel;
(ii) arrangement and supervision of dry dockings, repairs, alterations and the upkeep of the Vessel to the standards required by the Owners provided that the Managers shall be entitled to incur the necessary expenditure to ensure that the Vessel will comply with the law of the flag of the Vessel and of the places where she trades, and all requirements and recommendations of the classification society;
(iii) arrangement of the supply of necessary stores, spares and lubricating oil;
(iv) appointment of surveyors and technical consultants as the Managers may consider from time to time to be necessary;
(v) development, implementation and maintenance of a Safety Management System (SMS) in accordance with the ISM Code (see sub-clauses 4.2 and 5.3).
Technical Management. (only applicable if agreed according to Box 6)
(i) provision of competent personnel to supervise the maintenance and general efficiency of the Vessel;
(ii) arrangement and supervision of dry dockings, repairs, alterations and the upkeep of the Vessel to the standards required by the Owners, provided that the Managers shall be entitled to incur the necessary expenditure to ensure that the Vessel will comply with the law of the flag of the Vessel and of the places where she trades, and all requirements and recommendations of the classification society.
(iii) arrangement of the supply of necessary stores, spares and lubricating oil;
(iv) appointment of surveyors and technical consultants as the Managers may consider from time to time to be necessary;
(v) development, implementation and maintenance of a Safety Management System (SMS) in accordance with the ISM Code (see sub-clauses 4.2 and 5.3).
Technical Management. (only applicable if agreed according to Box 6) The Managers shall provide technical management which includes, but is not limited to, the following functions:
(i) provision of competent personnel to supervise the maintenance and general efficiency of the Vessel;
(ii) arrangement and supervision of dry dockings, repairs, alterations and the upkeep of the Vessel necessary to ensure that the Vessel will comply with the requirements of the Charter, the law of the flag of the Vessel and of the places where she trades, and all requirements and recommendations of the classification society;
(iii) arrangement of the supply of necessary stores, spares and lubricating oil and greases. The level and time of the supply of such items shall be based on that which a prudent owner of a vessel of the age and characteristics of the Vessel (including but not limited its operating history, planned maintenance and known wear and tear) would arrange so as to minimize off-hire time and to undertake such maintenance as may safely be carried out at sea by the crew;
(iv) appointment of surveyors and technical consultants as the Managers may consider from time to time to be necessary;
(v) development, implementation and maintenance of a Safety Management System (SMS) in accordance with the ISM Code (see subclause 4.2);
(vi) ensuring that the Vessel receives at least two visits per year from one of the Managers’ technical superintendents; and.
(vii) arrangement of oil company vetting so as to comply with the Owner’s obligations under the Charter.
Technical Management. (only applicable if agreed according to Box 6) The Managers shall provide technical management which includes, but is not limited to, the following functions:
(i) provision of competent personnel to supervise the maintenance and general efficiency of the Vessel;
(ii) arrangement and supervision of dry dockings, repairs, alterations and the upkeep of the Vessel to the standards required by the Owners provided that the Managers shall be entitled to incur the necessary expenditure to ensure that the Vessel will comply with the law of the flag of the Vessel and of the places where she trades, and all requirements and recommendations of the classification society;
(iii) arrangement of the supply of necessary stores, spares and lubricating oil;
(iv) appointment of surveyors, service engineers, and technical consultants as the Managers may consider from time to time to be necessary;
(v) development, implementation and maintenance of a Safety Management System (SMS) in accordance with the ISM Code (see sub-clauses 4.2 and 5.3) and a Planned Maintenance System;
(vi) Handling any claims against the builder of the Vessel arising out of the relevant shipbuilding contract, if applicable; and
(vii) On request by the Owners, obtaining and / or providing the Owners with a copy of any inspection report, survey, valuation or any other similar report prepared by any shipbrokers, surveyors, the Class etc.
Technical Management. The Managers shall provide technical management which includes, but is not limited to the following functions: (i) provision of personnel to supervise the maintenance and general efficiency of the Vessel; (ii) arrangement and supervision of drydockings, repairs, modifications to and the upkeep of the Vessel to the standards agreed with the Owners provided that the Managers shall be entitled to incur the necessary expenditure, which is subject to Owners’ prior approval, to ensure that the Vessel will comply with all requirements and recommendations of the classification society and equipment manufacturers, and with the laws and regulations of the country of registry of the Vessel and of the places where she trades; (iii) arrangement of periodic analysis of the bunker fuel, lubricating oils and chemicals by third parties (the costs being included in the Vessel’s running costs); (iv) appointment of surveyors and technical consultants as the Managers may consider from time to time to be necessary, provided they are pre-approved by the Owners; (v) visits to the Vessel by superintendents or other staff of the Managers for up to 20 days on board the Vessel in any calendar year (or pro rata for part of a calendar year) excluding the dry-docking period of the vessel and visits to the Vessel by superintendents or other staff of the Managers in excess of this allowance to be pre-approved in writing by the Owners; (vi) notify and receive prior approval by the Owners of any non-budgeted item of expenditure; (vii) notify and receive prior approval by the Owners if there is an operational need to exceed quarterly budget allowance as attached to this agreement under Part VI. (viii) development, implementation and maintenance of an SMS and an SSP.
Technical Management. All the activities for the benefit of the management, the supervision and controlling of the Facility. The Technical Management is performed by third parties for the account and responsibility of Timewax.
Technical Management. The Managers shall provide technical management, by supervising the maintenance, safety, classification certification and repairs of the Vessels so as to keep the Vessels in a suitable and efficient condition for her trading. This included but is not limited to the following functions:-
a) Supervision of the maintenance and general efficiency of the Vessels;
b) Arrangement and supervision of dry-dockings, repairs, alterations and the upkeep of the Vessels to standards required by the Owner, provided that the Managers shall be entitled to incur the necessary expenditure to ensure that the Vessel will comply with all requirements and recommendations of the Classification Society, with the Laws and Regulations of the Country of Registry of the Vessels and of the places where she trades and with all the appropriate Certificates for the Vessel’s trading as required by the International Regulations and that the Vessels Trading Certificates are effective and valid at all times;
c) Appointment of surveyors and technical consultants as the Managers may consider from time to time to be necessary;
d) Advising the Owner in advance regarding the dates that the Vessels are due for inspection or survey and about any recommendation made by the Vessels Classification Society during such inspection or survey.
Technical Management. Detailed technical management of the project’s activities is split across the project’s main technical functions. User support is the responsibility of the Community Service Manager. Operations is the responsibility of the Operations Manager, Software provisioning is the responsibility of the Technology Manager. Coordination of these activities and issues relating to their day-to-day management are discussed and resolved at the AMB. Detailed technical issues are resolved at the relevant management board responsible for each area. The senior managers of each of the main functions within XXX.xx contribute to these management boards and are responsible for the day-to-day execution of XXX.xx’s activities within their respective areas.
Technical Management. The Managers shall provide technical management which includes, but is not limited to the following functions:
(i) provision of personnel to supervise the maintenance and general efficiency of the Vessel;
(ii) arrangement and supervision of drydockings, repairs, modifications to and the upkeep of the Vessel to the standards agreed with the Owners provided that the Managers shall be entitled to incur the necessary expenditure to ensure that the Vessel will comply with all requirements and recommendations of the classification society and equipment manufacturers, and with the laws and regulations of the country of registry of the Vessel and of the places where she trades;
(iii) arrangement of periodic analysis of the bunker fuel, lubricating oils and chemicals by third parties (the costs being included in the Vessel’s running costs);
(iv) appointment of surveyors and technical consultants as the Managers may consider from time to time to be necessary;
(v) visits to the Vessel by superintendents or other staff of the Managers for up to 15 days in any calendar year (or pro rata for part of a calendar year) including time spent travelling;
(vi) notifying the Owners of any extraordinary and/or non-budgeted single item of expenditure in excess of US$50,000;
(vii) development, implementation and maintenance of an SMS and an SSP.
Technical Management. (only applicable if agreed according to Box 6). The Managers shall provide technical management which includes, but is not limited to, the following services:
(a) ensuring that the Vessel complies with the requirements of the law of the Flag State;
