Telemedicine Nurses. The Recipient will continue supporting the deployment of new Telemedicine Nurses to all 14 Local Health Integration Networks. The Recipient and the LHINs will be jointly responsible for reporting to the Ministry on the deployment and performance of the Telemedicine Nurses and related telemedicine event activity. The Recipient will continue to support development of provincial and regional telemedicine planning capacity and work with the Ministry and the LHINs on the integration of telemedicine into provincial health care system strategies. The Recipient will support the Local Health Integration Networks (LHINs) in developing and expanding their Telemedicine programs in line with the Telemedicine Business Plans that were submitted to the Ministry in September, 2011. The Recipient will be jointly accountable with the LHINs to deliver Telemedicine growth as per the accountability agreements between the LHINs and the Ministry. The Recipient will report to the Ministry quarterly regarding project progress. When you receive a covered healthcare service from a network provider via remote access, the amount you pay depends on the covered healthcare service you receive, as indicated in the Summary of Medical Benefits.   • Chiropractic Services This plan covers chiropractic visits up to the benefit limit shown in the Summary of Medical Benefits. The benefit limit applies to any visit for the purposes of chiropractic treatment or diagnosis.

  • Nurses Nurses shall meet and develop a plan for preliminary assignments for the upcoming school year. This plan shall be provided to the Executive Director of Student Support for approval by June 1st. If there is a change in unit member personnel after the original plan has been submitted, the group shall provide an updated plan to the Executive Director of Student Support for approval.

  • School Nurses The salary of a nurse with a graduate nursing degree will be 90% of the XX Xxxx of Schedule A. The salary of a nurse with a BS Nursing Degree will be the same as the XX Xxxx of Schedule A.

  • Radiation Therapy/Chemotherapy Services This plan covers chemotherapy and radiation services. Respiratory Therapy This plan covers respiratory therapy services. When respiratory services are provided in your home, as part of a home care program, durable medical equipment, supplies, and oxygen are covered as a durable medical equipment service.

  • Outpatient Dental Anesthesia Services This plan covers anesthesia services received in connection with a dental service when provided in a hospital or freestanding ambulatory surgical center and: • the use of this is medically necessary; and • the setting in which the service is received is determined to be appropriate. This plan also covers facility fees associated with these services.

  • Surgery Services This plan covers surgery services to treat a disease or injury when: • the operation is not experimental or investigational, or cosmetic in nature; • the operation is being performed at the appropriate place of service; and • the physician is licensed to perform the surgery. Preauthorization may be required for certain surgical services. Reconstructive Surgery for a Functional Deformity or Impairment This plan covers reconstructive surgery and procedures when the services are performed to relieve pain, or to correct or improve bodily function that is impaired as a result of: • a birth defect; • an accidental injury; • a disease; or • a previous covered surgical procedure. Functional indications for surgical correction do not include psychological, psychiatric or emotional reasons. This plan covers the procedures listed below to treat functional impairments. • abdominal wall surgery including panniculectomy (other than an abdominoplasty); • blepharoplasty and ptosis repair; • gastric bypass or gastric banding; • nasal reconstruction and septorhinoplasty; • orthognathic surgery including mandibular and maxillary osteotomy; • reduction mammoplasty; • removal of breast implants; • removal or treatment of proliferative vascular lesions and hemangiomas; • treatment of varicose veins; or • gynecomastia. Preauthorization may be required for these services.

  • Outpatient Services The following services are covered only at the Primary Care Provider’s office[selected by a [Member], or elsewhere [upon prior written Referral by a [Member]'s Primary Care Provider ]:

  • Nurse is an employee included in the Bargaining Unit described in Article 2.00.

  • Anesthesia Services This plan covers general and local anesthesia services received from an anesthesiologist when the surgical procedure is a covered healthcare service. This plan covers office visits or office consultations with an anesthesiologist when provided prior to a scheduled covered surgical procedure.
