Temporary Assignment to Higher Occupational Job Classification. Employees temporarily assigned to work in a higher occupational job classification shall receive a classification differential for each day in which an employee works three (3) or more hours in the higher assignment. Such daily classification differential shall be one-fifth (1/5) of the promotional increase which would apply if the assignment in the higher classification were on a permanent rather than on a temporary basis.   • Temporary Assignment 11.01 Employees shall perform any temporary work which the management directs with the understanding that when an employee is assigned to a job with a lesser rate of pay, he shall receive his regular rate of pay.
