Common use of Tenure-Track Appointments Clause in Contracts

Tenure-Track Appointments. Tenure Track appointments consist of two phases of probationary assessment during which time the Member must demonstrate the required qualifications and performance for obtaining a Tenured Appointment. A first probationary appointment shall normally have a duration of three (3) years and is normally followed by a second probationary appointment of the same duration. Tenure-track appointments shall not be made at the rank of Lecturer.
