Common use of TERM OF THE COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT Clause in Contracts

TERM OF THE COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT. 24.01 This Collective Agreement shall be binding and remain in effect until September 30, 2007. 24.02 Either party desiring to propose changes or amendments to this Collective Agreement shall within the period of ninety (90) days prior to the termination date, give notice in writing to the other party of the changes or amendments proposed. Within fifteen (15) working days of receipt of such notice by one party, that party is required to enter into negotiations for a renewal or revision of the Collective Agreement, and both parties shall thereupon enter into such negotiations in good faith and make every reasonable effort to negotiate a revised or new agreement.
