Termination of Layoff Status. An employee's layoff status (and recall right) shall be terminated, and the employee shall be considered dismissed, when the employee fails to return to work when recalled, as set forth hereinafter. An employee's layoff status shall not otherwise be terminated except upon the request of the employee.
