District Closures. The Employer may alter the work schedule to the extent the Employer determines necessary to comply with applicable local, state or federal laws or regulation; the availability of utilities; or for other circumstances beyond the control of the Employer, except that in this latter regard if school is closed by reason of adverse weather or other emergency and Employees are not requested to come in to work, they shall receive their regular rate of pay for such days or hours, provided that the Employer shall not be required to pay an Employee for more than the equivalent of six (6) of the Employee’s normal workdays during a fiscal year. If any such days or hours are required by the State to be rescheduled, the Employees shall not receive compensation for the scheduled days or hours. If school is closed after an employee’s reporting time, the district will compensate that employee for no less than 1 hour.

District Closures. Employees who are required to report to work at a District work location, during a District closure, shall receive a four percent (4%) differential for the hours worked on that day.
