TERMINATION OF SENIORITY STATUS. An employee’s seniority and employment status shall terminate if: a. The Employee resigns. b. The Employee is discharged for just cause. c. The Employee has not entered into an individual contract, pursuant to Article VI of this Agreement, for the following Academic Year. d. The Employee has been absent from work because of illness or injury through the end of the Academic Year following the Academic Year in which the Employee utilizes the last of the Employee's paid sick leave under Article 18.03 and/or exhausts all other available leave provided herein or by law. e. The Employee fails to report for work at the time at which he/she is scheduled to report on or after the beginning of an Academic Year, unless a just cause reason is given to the College. f. The Employee retires.
