Testing Information. All employees shall be informed of the Fire Division drug and alcohol testing policy. The City shall inform employees as to how the tests are conducted, what the test can determine, and the consequences of testing positive for alcohol and/or drug use. All newly hired employees will be provided with this information on or about their initial date of hire. No employee shall be tested before they have been provided a reasonable opportunity to obtain this information.
