The Appeal Committee. The Appeal Committee shall consist only of members who have not sat on the Tenure and Promotion Committee. The Appeal Committee shall consist of the following: • President of the University, or designate, (Chairperson, non-voting); • Vice President Academic or designate; • two Regular Faculty Members selected by the Chairperson, in consultation with the Faculty Association, from the appealing Faculty Member’s Faculty, who were not on the original Committee, both of whom must be of equal or higher rank than the Faculty Member appealing; • one Regular Faculty Member selected by the appealing Faculty Member.

For Clinical Counselors, the appeal committee shall consist of the following: • President of the University, or designate, (Chairperson, non-voting); • Vice President Academic & Xxxxxxx or designate; • One external clinical counsellor with post-secondary education sector experience; • One regular faculty member appointed by the Faculty Association; and • One (non-voting) member from the Human Resources Department
