THE AUTHORISED OFFICER. 5.1. The Authorised Officer shall be the person specified in the Variables or such other person nominated in writing by the Council from time to time to act in the name of the Council for the purposes of the Contract. 5.2. The Authorised Officer shall have power to issue reasonable instructions to the Contractor requiring compliance with this Contract and the Contractor shall comply therewith. 5.3. From time to time the Authorised Officer may appoint one or more representatives to act for the Authorised Officer generally or for specified purposes or periods. 5.4. The Contractor shall allow the Authorised Officer (or any nominated person) access to the Contractor’s work place, records and personnel for the purposes of inspecting the Services.

THE AUTHORISED OFFICER. 7.1 The Council shall appoint an Authorised Officer who may exercise the rights and powers conferred by this Contract upon the Council. 7.2 The Authorised Officer may notify the Contractor that the Council has nominated certain officers as Instructing Officers. An Instructing Officer shall be entitled to instruct the Contractor to carry out work which is part of the Services. 7.3 The Authorised Officer and/or Instructing Officers shall be entitled to monitor the performance of the Services by the Contractor and shall have the power to intervene in the case of any Contractor failure. 7.4 The Council‟s Authorised Officer and/or Instructing Officers shall at all times act in the spirit of partnership as defined in the Charter.

From time to time the Authorised Officer may appoint one or more representatives to act for the Authorised Officer generally or for specified purposes or periods. The Authorised Officer shall give written notice to the Contractor of any such nomination. Until such notice is received, the Contractor shall be under no obligation to comply with any instruction issued by anyone who is not the Authorised Officer.

The Concessionaire shall in no circumstances question the existence or extent of the authority of any person notified to the Concessionaire (whether orally or in writing) to be a replacement Authorised Officer, a deputy, assistant, representative or agent of the Authorised Officer.

  • Authorised Signatory An authorised signatory is required to sign this Data Sharing Agreement after all recommendations made by the Data Governance Board have been addressed and before the Data Sharing Agreement can be executed.
