TIME OFF FOR WORKING ON PUBLIC HOLIDAYS. Any employee who may be required to work on any whole holiday or substituted succeeding day, set out in Clauses 7.2.1 and 7.2.3, shall be paid overtime in accordance with the provision of Clause 6 and an equivalent public holiday entitlement shall be taken in lieu on a later day convenient to the Institute.

TIME OFF FOR WORKING ON PUBLIC HOLIDAYS. 13.4.1 An employee may be required to work on any of the Public Holidays as set out above. If an employee is required to work on a public holiday or substituted succeeding day, an alternative holiday shall be taken. The alternative day shall be taken on a day agreed between the employee and the employer, wherever practicable within three months of the entitlement arising. If the agreement cannot be reached the provisions of the Holidays Act 2003 shall apply.

  • Annual Leave Exclusive of Public Holidays The period of annual leave prescribed by this clause is exclusive of any public holidays, and if any such holiday falls within an employee’s period of annual leave and is observed on a day which in the case of that employee would have been an ordinary working day, there will be added to the period of annual leave time equivalent to the ordinary time which the employee would have worked if such day had not been a holiday.

  • Public Holiday Work (a) For Employees other than Shiftworkers, double time and a half must be paid for any Public Holiday Work with a minimum payment of four hours.
