Time Off to Handle Grievances. The Departmental Shop Xxxxxxx selected by the Union and recognized by the Company shall be allowed reasonable time off during working hours where it is required in connection with the handling of a grievance provided that permission is received in advance from his/her supervisor. Such permission shall not be unreasonably withheld and time spent in handling grievances shall be considered time worked.
