Corrective Discipline Sample Clauses
Corrective Discipline. Generally, discipline is intended to correct undesired behavior and conduct and, where appropriate, shall be progressive in nature. The process leading to, and including, the imposition of discipline shall be completed expeditiously.
Corrective Discipline. Except as provided in paragraph 8.2, the Employer recognizes the objective of corrective discipline for employees. The corrective procedure may result in the suspension or discharge of an employee if the progressive severity of the disciplinary actions taken by supervision does not bring about the desired improvement in behavior or performance from the employee. Corrective discipline shall normally be in the order described below:
Corrective Discipline. After the first ninety (90) workdays of employment, employees shall be subject to the district's corrective discipline procedures as set forth in Appendix B, “Rules and Regulations” and Article 11.03.
Corrective Discipline. Except as provided in paragraph 46 of this Agreement, the University recognizes the objective of corrective discipline for employees. Corrective Discipline. The City agrees with the tenets of progressive and corrective discipline where appropriate. Once the measure of discipline is determined and imposed, the City shall not increase it for the particular act of misconduct unless new facts or circumstances become known.
Corrective Discipline. Discipline for regular full-time and part-time employees will be of a corrective nature rather than punitive, except that nothing in this section shall prevent the Employer from taking immediate and appropriate disciplinary action should it be required by the circumstances.
Corrective Discipline. Corrective and disciplinary action is designed to provide a fair and structured way for employees to improve their job performances and/or behaviors which do not meet the standards or demands of their positions, and to provide a system for fair and equitable treatment of all employees.
1. The District will, through a corrective discipline system, give employees an opportunity to improve their job performances and/or behaviors which do not meet the standards or demands of their positions. The goal of the corrective discipline system is to correct or improve unsatisfactory performance/behavior and the measures utilized will commensurate with the deficiency to be corrected.
2. If disciplinary action is deemed necessary, the following steps of the corrective discipline will be adhered to as follows:

a. Just Cause - No Employee shall be disciplined, suspended, adversely evaluated, transferred, dismissed, terminated or otherwise deprived of any employment advantage without just cause.
b. Upon written request, the District and/or immediate supervisors shall remove and destroy all negative material in an Employee’s personnel and/or site files once its life span has expired, as long as it stands alone and does not become a part of any other action.

Corrective Discipline. 7.1 Corrective Discipline is designed to provide a fair and structured way for teachers to improve job performance or behavior, which does not meet the standards or demands of their position. The District will use the following disciplinary procedures in the order listed concerning violations of the contract, District policy, written school procedures or administrative directive. It is understood that severe violations may require the supervisor to skip steps listed. An employee may be disciplined/terminated for the reasons listed in NRS 391.312.
