Common use of Total Time Off Clause in Contracts

Total Time Off. Within a department in a reporting station, the Company has the right to impose a cap of thirty-five percent (35%) on the total number of employees that can be absent at one time for any reason (e.g., .49 of an employee rounds down; .50 of an employee rounds up). The total time off cap will be twenty-five percent (25%) during the last two weeks of August, the last two weeks of November, the last two weeks of February, and the last two weeks of May. Schedules may be changed if required with 10 days’ notice as per Article 15.02 (b).
