SUPPLEMENTARY BENEFITS. An adoptive parent, who is a regular staff member not on layoff or leave of absence, is entitled to the following supplementary benefits while on parental leave: During the first two (2) weeks of parental leave (which is the waiting period for Employment Insurance benefits) the Employer will pay a supplementary top-up benefit equal to 95% of the staff member’s normal basic salary, providing the staff member has made application for EI parental benefits. During the next eighteen (18) weeks, the Employer will pay supplementary top-up benefits equal to 95% of the staff member’s normal basic salary, less any amount of EI parental leave benefits for which the staff member is eligible. The remaining fifteen (15) weeks, plus any additional leave under 13.10(b), are without salary from the Employer.
SUPPLEMENTARY BENEFITS. Section 1. It is agreed that ordinances, resolutions and regulations providing for employment benefits for the employees of the City generally shall not be applicable to employees covered under this Agreement. In addition to the employee benefits specifically set forth herein, it is understood by the parties hereto that the Employer has no immediate intention of eliminating other benefits now in force which cover employees. The Association agrees, however, that the Employer retains the right to change, alter or remove such supplementary benefits if such action is deemed by it to be in the best interest of the City of Bothell.
SUPPLEMENTARY BENEFITS. Supplementary Benefits, such as but not limited to the Waiver of Premium Benefit and the Accidental Death Benefit, shall not be reinsured under this Agreement.
SUPPLEMENTARY BENEFITS. The employee can continue healthcare coverage at his/her expense subject to the permission of the insurance carrier.
SUPPLEMENTARY BENEFITS i) An employee who has completed the probationary period shall be entitled to the following benefits:
ii) She shall receive at the commencement of the pregnancy leave, a payment equivalent to 95% (ninety five percent) of one (1) week’s salary at the salary level she was receiving at the commencement of her leave. She will receive a second week payment equivalent to 95% (ninety five percent) of one (1) week’s salary at the termination of the 50 week maternity/parental leave period. This payment will be made prior to beginning any accrued vacation time.
iii) Where an employee is not entitled to EI benefits, she shall receive the $250.00 (two hundred and fifty dollars) weekly commencing immediately after the payment mentioned in (i) above for a period of 10 (ten) weeks.
iv) The weekly allowance of $250.00 (two hundred and fifty dollars) mentioned above shall be prorated for an incomplete work week.
v) The weekly allowance of $250.00 (two hundred and fifty dollars) mentioned above shall only continue for the period the employee remains on leave.
vi) Where an employee is entitled to EI benefits, she shall receive, concurrently with EI $50.00(fifty) for up to 50(fifty) weeks. For a cumulative total maximum of up to $2500.00.
vii) The total weekly allowance of $50.00 (fifty) shall be prorated for an incomplete work week.
viii) This weekly allowance of $50.00 for up to 50 (fifty) weeks shall only continue for the period the employee remains on leave.
SUPPLEMENTARY BENEFITS. 17:01 In accordance with the terms of the coverage under the insurance policies and other plans in effect as of the date hereof, the Company agrees to approve at no cost to the employees the coverage for Group Life Insurance, Weekly Indemnity, Surgical and major benefits, Dental and Drug Plan for all employees in the active employment of the Company, as per Schedule ”A” attached hereto.
SUPPLEMENTARY BENEFITS. Each regular Dancer agrees to be available to the Met for an additional twelve (12) weeks of employment during each year of this AGREEMENT in accordance with Article SEVENTEENTH of SECTION ONE.
