Train Travel. “First Class” may be used when travelling by train. Public Transport & Taxis: Supplier Personnel shall use public transport where appropriate (e.g. airport train/bus shuttle services from an airport to the relevant local office). Where it makes good business sense (for example, if there is no train service), the following may be used: taxis or equivalent (e.g. car rental); and cars owned by Supplier Personnel, which use the Client will reimburse at its standard rates for such (although it is presumed that this will not make good business sense except within the same country).
Train Travel. 3.3.1 Travellers must travel in economy class, making their reservations in advance and adapting their schedules to take advantage of reduced fares rather than paying the full cost of economy class.
3.3.2 Reservation changes must be minimized to avoid change fees. If a traveller considers a change fee justified, for example in the case of illness or force majeure, the traveller may submit the grounds for that justification when he or she requests reimbursement of the fee from the Foundation. If the Foundation does not consider the change justified, the change fee will be for the traveller’s personal account.
3.3.3 Boarding passes must be kept and submitted with the expense claim, along with the train itinerary and receipt, for verification purposes. Electronic boarding passes are accepted.
3.3.4 Travelers are encouraged to take advantage of the Foundation’s discount code number 811025 with Via Rail Canada.
Train Travel. All domestic and international travel accommodations are to be in coach class. Whenever possible, travel arrangements are expected to be made at least fourteen (14) days in advance to take advantage of less expensive options. In order to receive the best possible rates, the Consultant or Subconsultant employee shall take advantage of special fares without regard to special airline incentive programs (e.g. frequent flyer programs) when making reservations.
Train Travel. The Eastern Corridor is the primary area that train (Amtrak) travel will most likely occur for our travelers. Train Travel. 4.2.1 The Board may reimburse travelers for their economy train fares or business class train fares when those fares are comparable to the equivalent, economy class airfare on the same route.
4.2.2 Board staff shall book trains through the Board’s Executive Assistant. Board Members may book trains through the Board’s Executive Assistant or independently. Board contractors must book trains independently, though they are allowed to consult the Board’s Executive Assistant on fares the board members, officers, and staff are using.
Train Travel. It is the obligation of Supplier to choose the most direct economical train that coincides with his/her travel plans. All train travel must be in economy class. TOLLS, PARKING. Tolls and parking charges incurred for Citrix business are reimbursable. Please obtain receipts whenever possible. Citrix will not reimburse for toll surcharges where renter did not use a toll pass.
Train Travel. When SPARQ Solutions requires an employee to travel by rail, first class fares will be provided. Sleeping berths, if available, will also be supplied where employees are required to travel at night.
