Training and Vacation Schedules. 19.4(A) Training of New Hire Flight Attendants The Company may adjust the schedule of a newly hired Flight Attendant as necessary until the Flight Attendant successfully completes all training required by the Company and/or FAA to be released to perform Flight Attendant duties. Newly hired Flight Attendants will be compensated in accordance with the Flight Attendant Choice 72 Schedule with maximum eight day tour lengths wage tables set forth in Section 27 while in training. Until released to perform Flight Attendant duties, a newly hired Flight Attendant may not earn, and the company is not obligated to pay, additional regular or extended day compensation. A new hire Flight Attendant who completes training will be assigned an available 7 & 7 line at the conclusion of her training event, unless Flight Attendants have been involuntarily assigned to the Flight Attendant Choice Schedule, in which case the Flight Attendant will be assigned to the Flight Attendant Choice 72 Schedule in accordance with Section 19.1(B)(3) including the option to move to the Flight Attendant Choice 76 Schedule. In addition, a newly hired Flight Attendant may request assignment to a Flight Attendant Choice Schedule following the completion of training; provided, any such assignment by the Company would not result in exceeding the maximum percentages of each Flight Attendant Choice Schedule in each fleet set forth in to subsection 19.3(A).

  • Vacation Schedules (a) Employees shall submit their vacation requests to the supervisor on or before:

  • Vacation Schedule 1. Vacation periods shall be fixed by the Employer to suit the requirements of his business, but as far as possible and practicable, vacations will be given during the summer months, and for employees with school-age children, during the school vacations. Vacation periods shall be unbroken unless by mutual consent between Employer and employee, or where it is impractical. Grievances relating to this Section shall be subject to the Adjustment and Arbitration Procedure in this Agreement.

  • Vacation Scheduling (a) With the exception of authorized vacation carryover under Clause 18.6, the scheduling and completion of vacations shall be on a calendar-year basis.

  • Split Vacations Where an employee wishes to split her vacation, her second choice of vacation time shall be made only after all other employees concerned have made their initial selection.

  • Training Plan Within 90 days after the Effective Date, Good Shepherd shall develop a written plan (Training Plan) that outlines the steps Good Shepherd will take to ensure that: (a) all Covered Persons receive adequate training regarding Good Shepherd’s CIA requirements and Compliance Program, including the Code of Conduct and (b) all Relevant Covered Persons receive adequate training regarding: (i) the Federal health care program requirements regarding eligibility for hospice services upon initial admission, recertification for continued stay, and for Continuous Care, Respite Care, and General Inpatient Care; (ii) the role of physicians in making eligibility determinations; (iii) the accurate coding and submission of claims; (iv) policies, procedures, and other requirements applicable to the documentation of medical records; (v) the personal obligation of each individual involved in the claims submission process to ensure that such claims are accurate; (vi) applicable reimbursement statutes, regulations, and program requirements and directives; (vii) the legal sanctions for violations of the Federal health care program requirements; and (viii) examples of proper and improper eligibility determinations, documentation, and claims submission practices. The Training Plan shall include information regarding the training topics, the categories of Covered Persons and Relevant Covered Persons required to attend each training session, the length of the training, the schedule for training, and the format of the training. Within 30 days of the OIG’s receipt of Good Shepherd’s Training Plan, OIG will notify Good Shepherd of any comments or objections to the Training Plan. Absent notification by the OIG that the Training Plan is unacceptable, Good Shepherd may implement its Training Plan. Good Shepherd shall furnish training to its Covered Persons and Relevant Covered Persons pursuant to the Training Plan during each Reporting Period.

  • Vacation Scheduling for All Employees A. Vacation leave will be charged in the amount actually used by the employee.

  • Flexible Work Schedules (a) Academic Professional staff members throughout the University may have, as indicated below, flexible work schedules. For example, Academic Professionals often travel on University business and/or work evenings and weekends. A flexible work schedule is defined as having established working hours different from the standard 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday schedule, to be followed by an employee for an agreed upon period of time.

  • (b) - Job Descriptions A copy of the current job description for a bargaining unit position shall be made available to the Union upon request. When a new classification which is covered by terms of this collective agreement is created, a copy of the job description shall be forwarded to the Union at the time that the Hospital notifies the local Union of the rate of pay pursuant to article 20.01(a) above.

  • Training and Support Through the Solution, the Contractor shall provide all consulting, training, and support to the Customer and FL[DS] to ensure successful implementation of the Solution and ongoing support as necessary and as defined by FL[DS] to include, but not be limited to:

  • Sick Leave Reporting and Verification Employees must promptly notify their supervisor on their first day of sick leave and each day after, unless there is mutual agreement to do otherwise. If an employee is in a position where a relief replacement is necessary if they are absent, they will notify their supervisor at least two (2) hours prior to their scheduled time to report to work (excluding leave taken in accordance with the Domestic Violence Act). Unless otherwise precluded by law, the Employer has reason to suspect abuse, the Employer may require a written medical certificate for any sick leave absence. An employee returning to work after any sick leave absence may be required to provide written certification from their health care provider that the employee is able to return to work and perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
