TRANSACTION WITH MERCHANTS. 6.1. AEON Credit shall be entitled to disclose to any merchant to whom the Card may be presented or any member institution of VISA Inc., the Cardholder’s Account number and any other information which may be necessary to facilitate the use of the Card or the processing of any transaction effected or to be effected through the use of the Card, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, and other relevant personal data and privacy rules and regulations.

TRANSACTION WITH MERCHANTS. 9.1 In addition to the right to purchase goods and/or services from the Merchants, the Cardholder may be entitled to obtain such discounts, benefits and privileges as AEON Credit may from time to time notify the Cardholder PROVIDED THAT the Card shall be valid during the time of purchase and has not been cancelled by AEON Credit for any reasons whatsoever.

Any complaint by the Cardholder must be resolved directly with the merchant or member institution of VISA Inc. concerned and no claim against the merchant or member institution of VISA Inc. shall entitle the Cardholder to set off for counterclaim against AEON Credit or to withhold payment to AEON Credit on account of any such complaint or under any circumstanceswhatsoever.

(ii) The issue of the Card does not imply any obligation on Merchantrade that the Card will be honoured by the Merchants upon its presentation or use. Any complaint in respect of the refusal of any Merchants to accept the Card shall be resolved directly with such Merchants. The Cardholder shall not be entitled to set-off or counterclaim against Merchantrade or to withhold payment to Merchantrade on account of such complaint or under any circumstances whatsoever in respect for any payment made to any Merchants notwithstanding any claim or dispute that the Cardholder may have against the Merchants.
