Common use of Transfer of Accumulated Sick Leave Clause in Contracts

Transfer of Accumulated Sick Leave. 13.3.1 Classified employees who have been employed for a period of one calendar year or more and who terminate such employment for the purpose of accepting a position in another school district and who subsequently accepts, within one year of termination of their former employment, such employee shall have transferred with them to the second district the total amount of earned leave of absence for illness or injury to which they are entitled under law.
