Common use of Transfer of Accumulated Sick Leave Clause in Contracts

Transfer of Accumulated Sick Leave. Any employee of any school district who has been an employee of that district for a period of one (1) calendar year or more and who terminates such employment for the sole purpose of accepting a position in another school district and who subsequently accepts, within one (1) year of termination of his/her former employment, such position, shall have transferred with him to the second district, the total amount of earned leave of absence for illness or injury to which he/she is entitled under Education Code Section 45191.
