Newly hired employees who accrued sick leave from their former employment with a California public school District may have such sick leave balance transferred to San Xxxx, if their San Xxxx employment commences within a year of their former California public school employment, and if they submit a written request to the payroll department within one year of their employment in San Xxxx.
