Transmission Format. All transmissions of files by the Agent to Vanguard via the DV Platform shall conform to Vanguard’s specified file formats, which Vanguard shall provide to the Agent within a reasonable time prior to the commencement of transmissions hereunder. Vanguard reserves the right to change the specified file formats at any time, but shall provide the Agent with no less than 30 days’ advance written notice of any such change.
Transmission Format. As set forth in Section 2.1, all data transmissions of Standard Transactions as defined by Social Security Act § 1173(a) conducted between Health Plan and Trading Partner or Trading Partner’s Business Associate will use the code sets, data elements, formats and instructions as specified in the applicable ANSI X12N Implementation Guide.
Transmission Format. All transmissions of files by the Intermediary to Vanguard via the Web File Upload functionality on ITWS shall conform to Vanguards specified file formats for ITWS Web File Upload, which Vanguard shall make available to the Intermediary within a reasonable time prior to the commencement of any such transmissions hereunder. Vanguard reserves the right to change the specified file formats at any time upon notice to the Intermediary, and shall provide at least 30 days’ advance notice of any such change that would have any significant impact with respect to activities of the Intermediary hereunder. Vanguard may provide such notice via e-mail or by posting the changes on a Vanguard website and providing the Intermediary with e-mail notification of such posting.
Transmission Format. The Parties shall use only code sets, data elements, and formats specified by the Transactions Rule, applicable implementation guides, and the then-current version of the BCBSSC Companion Guides in all transactions subject to the Transactions Rule, and shall comply with applicable Operating Rules. The BCBSSC Companion Guides are incorporated herein by reference. This section will automatically amend to comply with any final regulation or amendment to a final regulation adopted by HHS concerning the subject matter of this Section upon the effective date of the final regulation or amendment.

All standard transactions, as defined by Social Security Act § 1173(a) and the Transaction Rules, conducted between DHS and Trading Partner or between DHS and Trading Partner’s Business Associate, will use codesets, data elements and formats specified by the Transaction Rules. All other Data Transmissions conducted between DHS and Trading Partner or between DHS and Trading Partner’s Business Associate will use the code sets, data elements and formats specified by trading partner in the EDI Registration of this Agreement.
Transmission Format. MS require electronic communications via e-mail attachment, or other method that is mutually agreed upon. - Electronic transmissions need to be in Microsoft Excel Workbook format.

For standard transactions, as defined by HIPAA, the Parties will not add or change any data definitions, data conditions, or use of data elements, or segments prescribed in the Transaction Rules, and will not use any code or data elements that are either marked as “not used” or are not contained in the Transaction Rules. Parties agree to transmission of all HIPAA standard transactions, including but not limited to the following: Professional Claim (837P); Institutional Claim (837I); Dental Claim (837D); Pay/Remittance Advice (835); Eligibility/Response (270/271); Claim Status Inquiry/Response (276/277); Request for Review/Response (278); Enrollment and Disenrollment in a Health Plan (834); Health Plan Premium Payment (820)
