Travel and Mileage Allowance. Employees of the City shall be allowed the sum equal to that approved by the Internal Revenue Service, plus parking charges and tolls, for travel on official business for the City in privately owned vehicles; provided however, such travel must be authorized by the Department Head and certified by the employee to the Director of Finance.
