Salary Advance. Teachers signing a Teacher General contract or Limited Term Teacher-General contract effective the first day of the school year shall, upon written request, receive an advance of five hundred dollars ($500.00) on the first (1st) teaching day of the school year. The advance shall be repaid through payroll deduction as follows: a) 250 from the final pay in September. b) 250 from the first pay in October.

Salary Advance. Release of sixty percent (60%) of an employee’s earned gross wages prior to the employee’s designated payday shall be authorized subject to approval of the Appointing Authority, in emergency cases upon receipt of a written request from the employee that describes the emergency. An emergency situation shall be defined as an unusual, unforeseen event or condition that requires immediate financial attention by an employee. Emergencies include but are not limited to the following circumstances: 1) Death in family 2) Major car repair 3) Theft of funds 4) Automobile accident (loss of vehicle use) 5) Accident or sickness 6) Destruction or major damage to home 7) New employee lack of funds (maximum – one (1) draw) 8) Moving due to transfer or promotion.
Salary Advance. Employees whose pay day(s) fall during their vacation period shall be paid the said salary before leaving on vacation. Employees shall give two weeks' prior notice to the Finance and Administration Department for such arrangements.

Salary Advance. Promptly following execution of this Agreement, Employer shall give Officer an advance in the amount of $600,000, grossed up for income tax purposes. In the event officer voluntarily terminates his employment, other than for good reason, prior to May 1, 2002, Officer shall repay to Employer one-twenty fourth (1/24) of the advance for each full calendar month such termination precedes May 1, 2002. If Officer remains employed through May 1, 2002, then the advance will be forgiven.
Salary Advance. An employee shall be entitled, once a year, to receive salary in advance for the month in which vacation leave begins. Payment of such salary shall be made on the morning of the work day preceding the first day of vacation leave provided that the employee requests in writing to immediate supervisor not less than fourteen (14) calendar days before the commencement of leave that wishes payment to be made pursuant to this section. Every effort will be made to permit the taking of vacation leave between May and October in each year. Vacation leave shall be rotated to ensure equality regardless of seniority.
