Tuition Reimbursement for Professional Study. Tuition, fees and book costs, will be provided for full-time faculty at one hundred percent (100%) to an annual limit of $2,200 in FY 2014, $2,400 in FY 2015 and $2,600 in FY 2016 for additional academic work done in professional areas with prior approval of their immediate supervisor. Up to $1000.00 of the annual limit may, at the discretion of the faculty member, be applied to meet ordinary and customary expenses associated with pre-approved nontraditional, or CEU-Granting, professional development activities occurring out-of- district. For purposes of this provision, such expenses shall be limited to transportation, lodging, meals, registration fees, and required materials paid for by the faculty member.

Tuition Reimbursement for Professional Study. Faculty members with an approved faculty action plan are eligible to receive $2,800 for professional development annually. One thousand dollars ($1,000) of the $2,800 will be distributed through payroll on the first pay date in October of the academic year. Faculty may apply for the remaining $1,800 to be used for tuition, course fees and books for preapproved credit based courses from a regionally accredited institution, based on the criteria established in Section 12.7. A faculty action plan must be submitted to their immediate administrative supervisor by May 1 for approval by August 15 to be eligible for any professional development money. It is the faculty member’s responsibility to submit their faculty action plan. Any faculty action plan received after May 1 will be rejected and the faculty member will not receive the $1,000 payroll disbursement or be eligible for any additional money towards preapproved credit based courses from a regionally accredited institution. Approvals prior to the contract have no bearing on future decisions. For FY 2017, the Faculty Action Plan must be submitted to their immediate administrative supervisor by May 31, 2016, for approval by August 15, 2016, to be eligible for any professional development money.

  • Tuition Reimbursement Program 21.2.1 The District will fund $28,000 each fiscal year for incentive pay for employees pursuing their National Board Certification, a master’s degree, or an endorsement.

  • Educational Reimbursement SECTION 1. The purpose of this Article is to xxxxxx a learning environment and provide educational opportunities that are mutually beneficial to the employees and the County and will encourage eligible employees to participate in education programs which will further their skills and knowledge for use in their current position or for use in a possible future position of greater responsibility. The Educational Reimbursement Program shall be a plan as provided for in Section 127 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the “Code”) and shall be construed consistently with the requirements of Section 127. Amounts paid for tuition reimbursement meeting the requirements of Section 127 of the IRS Tax Code are not included in an Employee’s income or subject to income tax withholding up to a maximum of $5,250 annually. If subsequent tax law changes fail to continue the tax-free treatment, or in any way modify its treatment, appropriate adjustments in tax withholding will be made from the effective date of the change. This Article does not apply to training seminars, conferences, workshops, etc.

  • Tuition Reimbursement A. Agencies may approve full or partial tuition reimbursement, consistent with agency policy and within available resources.

  • Professional Study Permanent unit members may apply for professional study leave by outlining in writing the plan that is to be followed and the institution to be attended. In addition, a clear statement must be included in the request indicating the need for educational study and the potential value to the District upon completion of such study. (See Appendix A, 4.033)

  • Reimbursement for Travel Harford County Public Schools will reimburse employees for approved transportation at the rate established by the Internal Revenue Service. All requests for transportation reimbursement must be submitted to the Assistant Superintendent for Administrative Services for prior approval before payment can be authorized.

  • Professional Development Program (a) The parties agree to continue a Professional Development Program for the maintenance and development of the faculty members' professional competence and effectiveness. It is agreed that maintenance of currency of subject knowledge, the improvement of performance of faculty duties, and the maintenance and improvement of professional competence, including instructional skills, are the primary professional development activities of faculty members.

  • Professional Services Fees You agree to pay us the professional services fees in the amounts set forth in the Investment Summary. Those amounts are payable in accordance with our Invoicing and Payment Policy. You acknowledge that the fees stated in the Investment Summary are good-faith estimates of the amount of time and materials required for your implementation. We will bill you the actual fees incurred based on the in-scope services provided to you. Any discrepancies in the total values set forth in the Investment Summary will be resolved by multiplying the applicable hourly rate by the quoted hours.

  • Reimbursement Process (a) Proposals shall be reviewed by the subcommittee composed of two bargaining unit members and two employer members, to be named by the Joint Committee;
