Types of development. ‌ Eligible types of development include new construction, renovation and rehabilitation, additions to existing stock of all types, acquisition of rental buildings, and conversion of non-residential buildings to rental. The development of condominiums and repairs to existing stock are also eligible types of development but will be given a lower priority. Projects already under construction but without an occupancy permit are also considered eligible under this program.
Types of development. 4.1 PPAs can be used for any application, although whether an agreement is justified will depend on the size and complexity of the proposal. However, developments that are likely to qualify for this approach would generally fall within the category of large-scale major applications or significant developments, which are unique, complex schemes. This further detailed in the Fee Schedule.
