Ulteig will provide construction phase technical design support on a limited basis, and will provide support for processing the DWR dam construction permit. Minot International Airport (MOT) Minot, North Dakota Wildlife Hazard Removal and Drainage Improvement ProjectPhase 2 Scope of WorkConstruction Administration, Observation, and Closeout General – This project will remove hazardous wildlife attractants (wetlands) and improve drainage at the airport through grading, storm sewer improvements, and drain tile installation. Improvements will be made to Pond A to control peak flow rates to ensure post-construction rate do not exceed pre- construction rates. All grading activities and proposed improvements will occur on airport property. This project is expected to occur in 3 phases for a total of 170 construction working days between the summer of 2024 and fall of 2025. An Environmental Assessment was completed for this project and the FONSI was approved on 8/23/2021. See project sketch below. Phase 1 construction will be performed in the southwest quadrant of the airfield, and includes 50,000 CY excavation, 6,000 CY embankment, 300 LF RCP storm sewer, 2,600 LF drain tile, 8,000 CY topsoil stripping and placement, and 14 acres of turf establishment. Phase 1 will be complete in 29 working days, in the summer of 2024. Phase 2 construction will be performed in the southeast and northwest quadrants of the airfield, and includes 14,000 CY excavation, 39,000 CY embankment, 3,200 LF RCP storm sewer, 13,000 CY topsoil stripping and placement, and 24 acres of turf establishment. Phase 2 will be completed in 61 working days, in the summer of 2024. Phase 2 will be completed as part of the same contract as Phase 1. Phase 3 construction will be performed in the northeast quadrant of the airfield, and includes 67,000 CY excavation, 46,000 CY embankment, 3,600 LF RCP storm sewer, 8,300 LF drain tile, 27,000 CY topsoil stripping and placement, and 50 acres of turf establishment. Phase 3 will be completed in 80 working days, in the summer of 2025. This scope of work assumes Phase 3 will be completed by the same contractor as phases 1 and 2.   • Preliminary Engineering In order to receive City review and approval of the Extensions, Developer shall furnish two (2) copies of the plat map, topographic map and proposed roads profile sheets in electronic format prior to the City’s ordering of the engineering plans from its Engineer. The contour elevation and road profile elevations shall be referenced to NAVD ‘88 datum. In the event Developer’s engineer prepares the construction plans and specifications, the above information shall be a part of the extension construction plans to be reviewed and approved by the City’s Engineer. The final plat map shall be to the scale of 1-inch = 20 feet. The contour map shall have a scale of 1-inch = 20 feet and contour intervals of two (2) feet or less. The road profile sheets shall be to the scale of 1-inch = 20 feet. Developer shall provide a minimum of one benchmark, datum being NAVD ‘88, on the project site; and the elevation and location of the benchmark shall be indicated on the maps furnished by Developer.
