Common use of Unfilled Vacancies Clause in Contracts

Unfilled Vacancies. Where appropriate under Article 13.03 – Employment in Excluded Positions and Within Other Bargaining Units, displaced employees shall have access to unfilled vacancies that have been previously posted and gone unfilled. The selection of the vacant positions shall be in accordance with seniority, provided the employee has the capabilities and qualifications to perform the duties of the vacant position.
