Common use of Union Business Leave of Absence Clause in Contracts

Union Business Leave of Absence. In reference to Article (a), the total number of employees who may be absent at any one time two (2) exclusive of the entitlements elsewhere in this article or collective agreement. Employees may be from the full-time or part-time bargaining units and will not both be from the same department. Such requests shall be submitted in writing at least two (2) weeks in advance.
