7.2 Dues deduction amount shall be made in accordance with the terms provisions established by UNION. Any change in the amount to be deducted bi-weekly must be submitted in writing by UNION to COUNTY thirty (30) days in advance of said change.
7.3 Once UNION’s membership authorization and conditions of their authorization. Accompanying the remittance will be a listing OAPSE State Treasurer of the names, unique gross salary of the employee identification numbers, VCAP deducted, total wages from which Union dues/fees are calculated for the time period based on W-2 information and the amount remitted of dues to be deducted as required by the OAPSE State Constitution. The Board Treasurer shall forward to the OAPSE State Treasurer the amount of the State dues, along with a complete description by name and amount, for all employees from whom deductions were madeeach employee. A copy of this description shall be forwarded to the Local Treasurer.
8.6 6. Upon final ratification and approval of this Agreement by both Parties, but no later than the second payroll after receipt Union will provide sufficient copies for the University’s distribution of written notificationthe Agreement to all supervisors and managers of bargaining unit employees. The University will post the Agreement on the Human Resource Services, Labor Relations website. The University shall distribute the Agreement to all current and new bargaining unit members. J. When a project or cyclic employee returns to work in a covered position, deduction of membership dues will be restarted with the first pay period ofwork.
K. When an employee represented by the Union moves to process a position not represented by the request. Union, deductions on behalf of the Union will cease.
L. Deduction of membership dues will be applicable to any retroactive salary increase.
M. An ASE employee may revoke their authorization for payroll deduction of payments to the Union by written notice to the University and the Union in accordance with the terms and conditions of their authorizationsigned membership card. X. Xxxxx (60) days following the second payroll after receiving notice from date of employment by the Board, Employees in the bargaining unit who are not members of the Union that an ASE has revoked authorization. The University may request a copy of an employee’s signed card at any time.
8.5 The University will remit a payment for all deductions shall pay to the Union electronically at a fair share fee as a condition of employment with the end Board. Such fair share fees shall not exceed dues paid by members of the Union who are in the bargaining unit. The Union shall notify the Board of the fair share fee amounts and of any changes in the fair share fee amounts in the same manner as notification of amounts and changes in the amounts of dues deductions. Fair share fees shall be deducted from the payroll checks of the Employees in the same manner as regular membership dues are deducted and forwarded by the Board to the Union in the same manner, except that written authorization for deduction of fair share fees is not required.
B. Union dues, and/or fair share fees, as certified annually on September 1, shall be deducted biweekly. An ASE may revoke their authorization for payroll deduction of payments to the Union by written notice revocation to the Union in accordance with the terms and conditions of their authorization. The University will end dues deduction no later than the second payroll after receiving notice from authorization form, or absent any such terms, by mailing a written revocation to the Union that an ASE has revoked authorizationis postmarked during the thirty (30)- day period immediately prior to the annual anniversary date on which the employee signed the authorization form.
A. It shall be the sole responsibility of the Union to procure and enforce payroll deductions of dues.
B. Dues deductions shall not be retroactive.
C. The City will not deduct any Union fines, penalties, or special assessments from the pay of any employees.
D. Member request to change or cancel deductions must be made to the Union and not to the City. The University may request a copy of an employee’s signed card at any time.
8.5 City shall not resolve disputes between the Union and represented employees concerning Union Membership or deductions. The University will remit a payment for all City shall direct member requests to cancel or change deductions to the Union electronically and shall rely on information provided by the Union regarding whether deductions for a member were properly canceled or changed. The City will cease deductions at the end of each the pay period following notification from the Union to the City to cease deductions, or at a later date as specified by the Union to coincide with the end of a pay period.
E. The employee’s earnings must be sufficient after all other legal and required deductions and any employee voluntary deductions are made to cover the amount of the Union Dues. The City shall promptly provide the Union a listing copy of the names, unique employee identification numbers, VCAP deducted, total wages from which Union dues/fees are calculated for request and any materials submitted with the time period and the amount remitted for all employees from whom deductions were maderequest.
8.6 The Union agrees to indemnify, defend and hold the University harmless from any and all claims, actions, or liabilities that arise out of or by reason of actions taken by the University pursuant to this Article, including reimbursement for reasonable legal fees or expenses incurred in connection with any such claim, action or liability.

8.6 The Union agrees to indemnify, defend and hold the University harmless from any and all claims, actions, or liabilities that arise out of or by reason of actions taken engaged by the University pursuant to this ArticleCompany who are eligible for Union membership, including reimbursement for reasonable legal fees or expenses incurred in connection with any such claim, action or liabilityshowing name and payroll number.
