Common use of Union Leave of Absence Clause in Contracts

Union Leave of Absence. Upon written request received at least four (4) weeks in advance (or longer if possible), leave of absence without pay and without loss of seniority, will be granted to not more than two (2) employees, elected and/or appointed by the Union, to attend Union conventions or conferences for an aggregate of not more than 10 days in any calendar year.
