Common use of UNION NEGOTIATION COMMITTEE Clause in Contracts

UNION NEGOTIATION COMMITTEE. 33.01 The Employer recognizes the establishment of the Union’s Negotiating Committee to be comprised of eight (8) employees, including two (2) Deck employees, one (1) Shoreside employee, two (2) Terminal employees, one (1) Information Department employee, one (1) part-time Terminal employee and one (1) on call Deck employee. When requested by the Union, the Employer will provide relief to allow members of the Negotiating Committee to perform the duties of the Committee. The Employer will not be required to pay any wages to any member of the Committee during those times that the members are performing their duties of the Negotiating Committee.
