Common use of Union Payroll Deduction Clause in Contracts

Union Payroll Deduction. It is agreed between the Company and the Union that any employee in the bargaining unit defined in Article 2 of this Agreement, who is or may hereafter become a member of the Union, or pays an agency fee, may authorize the collection of Union dues or agency fees by the signing of a payroll deduction form. The employee's authorization shall be irrevocable for a period of one (1) year from the date they are signed or until this Agreement expires whichever occurs sooner, irrespective of their membership status in the Union.
