Common use of Union Representatives and Grievance Committee Clause in Contracts

Union Representatives and Grievance Committee. a) The Employer agrees to recognize six (6) employee representatives to be elected or appointed from employees in the bargaining unit for the purpose of dealing with Union business as provided in this Collective Agreement. It is agreed, that where possible, these representatives will not be from the same shift or from the same department.

It is understood that the additional representation is to enable participation from the support services and the evening and night shift.
