Union Representatives Time Off. Designated representatives of the Union shall be allowed time off on City time for meetings during regular working hours when formally meeting and conferring in good faith or consulting with designated City representatives on matters within the scope of representation, provided that the number of such representatives shall not exceed the below specified limits without the prior approval of the City Manager or his or her designee, and that advance arrangements for time away from the work station or assignment are made with the appropriate Department Head. The President shall be released plus the following: Representational Unit Number of Employees Management (M) 1 Professional (P-1) 1 Engineering - Paraprofessional (P-2) 1
