Unit Price Changes. Unit price Change Orders shall be based on the unit prices identified in the Contractor's bid, which include the Contractor's overhead and profit for the Work performed on the unit price basis. The above-mentioned percentages shall not be applied to unit price changes.

Unit Price Changes. If a change is ordered in an item of work covered by a Contract Unit Price, and such change does not involve substantial change in character of the work from that shown on the Plans or Special Provisions, then an adjustment in payment will be made. This adjustment will be based upon the increase or decrease in quantity and the Contract Unit Price. If the actual quantity of an item of work covered by a Contract Unit Price and constructed in conformance with the Plans and Special Provisions varies from the Bid quantity by 25% or less, payment will be made at the Contract Unit Price.
