Common use of Unsafe Work Conditions Clause in Contracts

Unsafe Work Conditions. ‌ No employee will be disciplined for refusal to work on assignment which, in the opinion of a safety committee member or xxxxxxx, after an on-site inspection and following discussion with a representative of the Employer, does not meet the standards established pursuant to the Workers Compensation Act. Where an employee acts in compliance with Part 3 of the WorkSafeBC Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, they will not be subject to disciplinary action.
