Upon Retirement or Death. 3 Upon retirement from the County or death, an employee or their beneficiary shall be paid for 4 up to 480 hours, or 320 hours for employees hired on or after July 1, 2023, of accrued BT at 100% 5 and for all accrued SL at 35% of the employee’s base hours rate of pay.
